A Kratom User Support Group

4 MAY 2020   |   by dc   |   PERSONAL INSIGHT FROM A KRATOM USER

Working in a kratom shop in San Antonio, I hear a lot of stories (and I tell a lot of stories, too....) I get asked many questions, and through it all, I see one thing - people who need people. And answers. Whether you're new to kratom or a seasoned pro, we all have wondered "is this a normal experience?" or "what can I expect when using kratom?"

I have come to the conclusion that people who seek kratom to kick an addiction have other things in common - they are struggling, alone, trying to get on top of their addiction. They don't like or won't go to NA or AA. I say this from both personal experience and anecdotal evidence. I've talked to hundreds of people about addiction, kratom, how to get clean and stay sober. Taking it day by day is the only solution. One day at a time...

So I got this idea to start a kratom meet-up, where folks who are trying to change their lives can come together and share tips on how to be successful with sobriety and remain sober. That's all great, BUT - we're in the times of Covid-19, so... I'm first starting an online meetup, a virtual support group in the form of a forum, eventually able to come together in person, in San Antonio, TX. I will post that page here/blog it as soon as it is live, hopeuflly this week! It is as anonymous as you'd like it to be. But in these new times, I know one thing - we all have to help each other!

I 100% support plant medicine to help reset/release addiction and addictive behaviors.
